Building a house of this type provides several advantages since the roof does not require any maintenance during its early years. But it is critical to to give more attention during construction of the roof specially in the waterproofing works since concrete is not impermeable to rain or water. Special water proofing treatments should be used to insure that no leakages will occur during rainy days and no water accumulates on the roof thereby insuring an acceptable slope during construction.
