This house is also inspired by Gabaldon school buildings, wherein the house is raised or elevated from the natural ground (not full height). It could either be back-filled with soil or it can be utilized as rest area or in this case a garage.
Looking at the floor plan, you can reach the front porch with a 8 steps stair, which stretches the whole width of the living and bedroom widths. A full width sliding door made of aluminum and glass is the main entrance going to the living area. Further to the back is the dining and kitchen combined. Living and dining are not combined in this design but divided by a masonry wall, which prevents fumes from the kitchen while cooking.
At the left side area two bedrooms with ample space to accommodate king or queen size beds and built-in closets. bedroom at the upper left side is also provided with en-suite toilet and bath. The common toilet for this house is located near the kitchen.
Master’s bedroom can be reach though a 6 steps stair going up. This room is made sure that there will be built-in cabinets and en-suite toilet and bath for the convenience and privacy of the owner. it is also provided with a terrace at the front, small but a good place to breathe while at the master’s bedroom and relax.
