Creative evolution: the journey of Studio57 to perfection
Studio57, a 3D visualization, architecture and design studio is a place where creative forces come together to tackle individual challenges and address pressing social issues through technology.
We create new conditions for a more comfortable and higher-quality life by offering clients concrete guidance for action instead of mere speculation. Behind all of this are our 3D visualizers, who daily hone their skills to precisely convey the client’s vision, presenting it in various forms – from realistic renderings of residential houses to virtual tours of contemporary interiors in yet-to-be-built apartments.
Our portfolio consists of selected works, each representing a story of constructive collaboration, creative energy and a love for beauty that is also functional. Over the years, since Studio57 entered the market, what began as a single “timid” interior project has grown into hundreds of projects across various themes and locations. What once looked “good” has now become the standard, even routine – this shift has marked our journey toward endless self-improvement.
This progress is evident when we add new “disciplines” to our list of services, such as interior and exterior yacht rendering. It’s convincing because clients who first came to us with a single request return again and recommend us to their colleagues. This personal upgrade is felt by architects, interior designers, e-commerce representatives, major developers and business leaders, for whom we always find a personalized approach. Our comprehensive approach helps some communicate their ideas more clearly and transparently presenting their concepts vividly, while others witness increased conversion rates after the “simple” integration of realistic renders into a furniture manufacturer’s website.
Bold challenges that shaped the principles of Studio57
At the very beginning, we didn’t aim to reshape the industry by pushing meaningless and empty trends. We weren’t trying to loudly declare our ambitions, fully aware of our level of preparation. Our advantage and ally was a steady pace, full of obstacles and mistakes. By learning from them, Studio57 became one of the top 3D visualization companies showing how dreams can be fulfilled through its own example.
Our journey began with small architectural rendering projects that most 3D artists would rather forget, as they didn’t truly reflect their skills (not just due to the development of technology itself, but also our adaptation to a highly competitive environment). Yet, we still take pride in them, because the memories they hold are a testament to the confidence we’ve built in our abilities.
As we grew, we started taking on more unusual projects, which in turn helped shape the principles of our approach. One example is the product visualizations for “Resting Reef”, a project for a startup conceived by two women from the UK. Their story revolved around the themes of death and rebirth, where thoughts of losing loved ones and memories of them took on new meaning.
Our role was to create 3D models of coral reefs made from oyster shells and the ashes of the deceased, which would then become part of the ocean floor helping restore the ecosystem’s balance. These components, which encouraged the growth of marine flora and fauna, became a brilliant solution for laying a strong foundation for environmental preservation (which, in the future, helped prevent ecological and economic losses caused by soil erosion). The “Resting Reef” project had a profound impact on us, and we are proud that we didn’t shy away from the unknown, as it ultimately opened new horizons for us.
From that moment on, our 3D visualization and rendering studio began focusing more on sustainability. This principle has since become the key link between us and potential clients who are concerned with issues of environmental responsibility.
A new era – meeting the needs of specialized businesses
Another milestone in our studio’s development was our yacht exterior visualizations for a London-based shipbuilding company. Starting from scratch, we quickly realized we were facing unique challenges – at the very least, a yacht’s configuration is nothing like the familiar structure of a townhouse or high-rise building, which our 3D artists could create with their eyes closed. Were we plagued with doubts? Absolutely. But our studio’s founder and passionate yacht enthusiast, Alexandr Kasperovich, instilled confidence in our team. We worked tirelessly to achieve perfect render quality, aiming to impress the client – and we succeeded. Now, our work populates the Instagram feed and website of Arksen, attracting buyers and travel enthusiasts alike.”
3D visualization as a universal solution
Of course, our business wouldn’t thrive without understanding and equally creative clients who reflect our versatile nature. We offer unique solutions that become a cure-all for almost any industry. We fully realize just how powerful and effective 3D visualization can be, both on its own and as part of larger projects like 360-degree panoramas or metaverse products, for instance.
Concept validation, well-defined decisions, a lack of endless approvals, reduced project errors, quick product launches and always meeting expectations – this list of benefits that 3D visualization integration offers could go on forever.
We see how e-commerce representatives are thrilled with their conversion rates, and we know how architects breathe a sigh of relief when they present renderings of a future villa to their clients instead of just drawings, allowing for a more precise spatial perception. We are confident that with this kind of “weapon,” it’s possible to change the world for the better. And, of course, our practice provides proof of that – a completed project for a major USA developer, which became a key argument for attracting future investors in the construction of a new residential complex in Idaho. There are dozens of such projects… We’ve come a long way, and our journey won’t end as long as we carry the fire within us. We’re strengthened by the challenges that turn into victories, with the joy of success magnified a thousand times over. And this gives us the confidence to follow our mission.
Project costs: from technical brief to realization
I believe one of our studio’s key competitive advantages lies not only in our deep understanding of each client’s needs but also in the natural result of this – affordable pricing.
Unfortunately, we cannot set fixed “boundaries” for project costs, as they vary depending on several factors. However, we can outline these factors to make it easier for the client to understand the visualization development process, with each step delivering undeniable value. The starting point of our collaboration is always the client’s technical brief, the specifics of which often present a challenge in themselves (our manager is always available to assist with this during consultations). The key component of this process is whether a ready-made 3D model is provided, as the absence of one can significantly increase the project’s cost.
The project budget is influenced by the number of renders, angles, the complexity of the details, the addition of effects or a comprehensive order that includes additional options. All these elements are considered as part of a specific service, whether it’s architectural animation, where it’s crucial to specify the plot’s duration for the script or product visualization, where background variations impact the final project cost (for example, renders of an ottoman or a sofa model against a white background versus their integration into the interior of a future apartment – these are two entirely different cases).
We understand the intricacies of pricing, which is why we remain competitive in the 3D visualization market. That said, we don’t make promises until we are fully immersed in the specifics of a client’s request and only after we understand which tools (for example, our 3D artists, who follow modern trends, use not only 3Ds Max but also build new worlds on the Unreal Engine) and resources will be needed to bring their idea to life. Process optimization, which leads to favorable project timelines and optimal budget solutions without compromising on quality, is the flexibility that every specialist at Studio57 is equipped with.
