This post is for our readers and visitors who are requesting for a 1.5-story house or the so-called split-level house. This style is often preferred by homeowners who wish to have a double-storey but could not afford one. The split-level is an alternative to a two-storey home.
It has a main floor that typically houses the living room, dining and kitchen and maybe one bedroom while the upper floor houses the bedrooms and a small living area or a balcony.
In this design, the main floor has two doors, one is for the toilet while the other one is for the living room, dining, and kitchen. The stairs are located outside and they are going straight to the upper floor where the bedrooms are located. Please see the floor plan below.
The open garage can accommodate two cars. You can also use this space for a small gathering. And if you have more space in front of the house, you can make a spot for your dining alfresco. The rough estimate for a rough finish is US$30,000 or 1.5 million Philippine pesos. With this amount, the house is already installed with electricity and water and is ready for occupancy. However, this estimate does not include painting and stuffing. If you have your old furniture and stuffs, you can use them. You can save for the next phase which is finishing and furnishing the house with your favorite stuffs.
